The Latest Research on the Impact of Divorce on Children: Counseling Parents on What Their Kids Need During and After Divorce

Marta J. Papa, a divorce attorney and mediator, will discuss the latest research on the Impact of Divorce on Children. She will share surprising results from new studies about how children react to Parental Alienation as well as describe the impact of conflict on children of divorce, both the immediate impact and the “Sleeper Effect.” Finally, she will suggest how to help divorcing and divorced parents meet their children’s needs.
Coined the “Divorce Whisperer”, Marta J. Papa is an Attorney, Mediator and nationwide Mediation Trainer. She is also a graduate of the Menninger Institute’s Marriage And Family Therapy Training Program.
